By Unknown 0 comments

Ingredients

Butter or cooking spray to grease the
cookie sheets

1 1/2 cups pre-sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup butter, softened
1 1/4 cups firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
2 cups natural whole grain
granola cereal

1 cup dried cranberries

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and grease the cookie sheets.

2. Mix together the flour, salt, and baking soda in the small bowl with the spoon. Then set aside.

3. Use the electric mixer to cream the butter and brown sugar in the large bowl until the mixture is light and fluffy.

4. Crack the egg on the side of the large bowl and let it slide in. Add the milk and beat with the electric mixer until blended.

5. Slowly add the flour mixture to the large bowl, blending well with the electric mixer until dough forms.

6. With the spoon, fold in the granola and dried cranberries.

7. Using a teaspoon, scoop up balls of dough and place them on the cookie sheets, 2 inches apart.

8. Bake each sheet of cookies, one at a time, for 8 minutes or until cookies are light brown.

9. Carefully remove the cookie sheet from the oven with the pot holders. Let it cool for one minute. Then use the spatula to place the cookies on the wire rack to continue cooling.
