Bench Analysis Overclocking Performance

Bench analysis

Making sense of an awful lot of numbers

Have tested a whole lot of processors in and produced many a group test but few have left us feeling quite so frustrated. Despite being one of the oldest chips in the test the Core i5 2500K is still far and away the easiest to recommend. The Core i5 has got decent multi-threaded chops, and simply incredible overclocking as well as solid gaming performance too.

Of all the AMD chips it's sad to say the oldest chip showed the best performing one hero too. The new Bulldozer architecture has only gone on to show just how good we had it with the Phenom II X6 1100T. That's a proper six-core chip and the multi-threaded benchmarks show that in stark contrast to the tri-module FX 6100.
